| This is a Sapporo clock tower. The start of this Sapporo City is 1857. Two
families lived in this uncultivated field in 1857. After that, the population of
Sapporo City is 1.9 million people only 150 years.This clock tower was built in
1878. This clock tower is a symbol of the development of Sapporo since then. |

This word is Dr. Clark who came from the United States to
Sapporo by the purpose of the education in 1876. Dr. Clark is a person of the
symbol of this city. |

| This is a television tower in the center part in Sapporo City. This was built in
1956. This tower is sending the electric wave of the television now. This tower
is of course one of the symbols of Sapporo City. |
